General Data Protection Law Definitions

(a) “PERSONAL DATA”: any information related to an identified or identifiable natural person (“DATA SUBJECT” or “DATA SUBJECT”), such as name, ID, CPF and photo; 

(b) “SENSITIVE DATA”: personal data of an individual regarding racial or ethnic origin, religious belief, political opinion, membership of a trade union or organization of a religious, philosophical or political nature, data relating to health or sexual life, genetic or biometric data;

(c) “PROCESSING”: any operation carried out with personal data, such as those relating to collection, production, reception, classification, use, access, reproduction, transmission, distribution, processing, archiving, storage, elimination, evaluation or control of information, modification, communication, transfer, dissemination or extraction;

(d) “CONTROLLER”: in this case, Zortéa Construções, a legal entity under private law, responsible for decisions regarding the processing of personal data, as it has a direct relationship with the Data Subject;

(e) “OPERATOR”: a legal entity, under public or private law, that processes personal data on behalf of the controller, in this case, Zortéa Construções’ partners and service providers; and

(f) “HOLDER or HOLDERS”: natural person to whom the personal data refers or user of the platform, for example, you who access the website to request a quote or you who are applying for a job vacancy at Zortéa Construções.

 

What data and information do we collect?

It is important to emphasize that specific personal information and sensitive data will only be collected by Zortéa Construções for the purpose of providing the services contained in our portfolio, and strictly necessary for this purpose. Alternatively, we may collect personal data for job application purposes. In this case, we will basically collect the full name, CPF, telephone number and contact email.

 

How do we collect data?

For what purposes do we process your data?

The information collected by Zortéa Construções will be stored in our database to fulfill the purpose requested by the Data Subject, and the aforementioned information may also be kept so that Zortéa Construções can offer you products and services or even offer you new business and/or employment opportunities. 

Therefore, the Data Holder, in this case, expressly authorizes Zortéa Construções to process the data in accordance with the clear and precise information mentioned above. 

 

How do we store Cookies and Data?

The email address registered by the HOLDER who chooses to subscribe to our Newsletter will be collected and stored until the HOLDER requests to unsubscribe.

We may obtain contact information through your own subscription to the newsletter, from public sources, industry surveys, including content made public on social media sites, to make initial contact with a particular person at a client or other company in order to offer them products and services.

We send commercial emails to other companies with whom we want to develop or maintain a business relationship, in accordance with applicable marketing laws. Our targeted email messages often include web beacons, cookies and similar technologies that allow us to know whether you open, read or delete the message, as well as links for you to click. When you click on a link in a marketing email that you receive from Zortéa Construções, we also use a cookie to record the pages you view and the content you download from our websites, even if you are not registered or logged in to the website.

Period of retention of personal data

The HOLDER's personal data will be kept for as long as necessary, for example, for as long as the contractual relationship lasts, for as long as there is a need to comply with a legal obligation and will be kept for marketing campaigns. All information will be kept on servers “in the cloud” using all security measures applicable to such storage.

We reserve the right to change this Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting and you will be notified.

By using the service after any modifications, the HOLDER demonstrates his/her agreement with the new rules. If he/she disagrees with any of the modifications, he/she must immediately stop accessing the services and present his/her objection to the customer service, if he/she so wishes.
